Ever notice how sometimes everything just goes your way?
Every light turns green. You grab the last ripe avocado at the store. The only shirt left on the rack is your size, your color—and it’s on sale?
It’s that rare, breezy kind of feeling, right?
Of course, we’re all familiar with the opposite too: red lights on every block, nothing fits, nothing works, nothing’s flowing. So how do we invite that good-luck air back in?
Here are a few ways to shake off that stale winter vibe—like a Charlie Brown cloud—and let a little fortune breeze through.
Open All the Doors
(Yes, literally. I’ll wait!)Go ahead—open the doors, open the windows, get that stagnant air out. There’s a reason it feels symbolic.
In Chinese tradition, there’s a similar practice: before Lunar New Year, families sweep their homes on the 24th day of the 12th lunar month to “sweep away the dust.” This represents clearing out bad luck and old energy to make space for prosperity.

Say Yes to Everything (Even the Weird Stuff)
Sometimes we get stuck in our routines, but comfort can shrink our world. Try saying yes to something unexpected. A new book, a new friend, a new point of view—even a weird movie genre you never gave a chance.
Say yes to the little stuff. If it flops-Fine! Try something else. But you just might stumble into a new idea, a new connection, or a little bit of luck hiding in the surprise.
Luck lives in the “Sure, why not?”

When all the lights ARE red, and nothing feels right, just breathe through it. Be a reed, not a rock. It’s easy to cling tightly to how things should go—but sometimes the break in the plan is the opening we need. Flexibility helps us dodge the ruts and see the hidden path.
Don’t fight the wind. Move with it.
So here’s the idea: do something physical—open the doors, sweep the floor, carry a little charm—and let your mindset follow. Invite luck in with your actions, then let your attitude catch the breeze.
Luck’s not a lottery—it’s standing where the breeze blows.
Ever had a moment where it all went right? Tell me about it—I’m seriously curious.
Me? I’m opening my doors today, and feeling that breeze. You with me? Let’s chase the good stuff—one quirky step at a time.

Great post Monica.
Just what I needed today.
